Sorry - been MIA ....

Hello !

I am so sorry for not keeping this up to date - I've been so busy !!!

First of all - last Friday 16th May 2008 I had my operation .. it was only a small one .. as far as I know I had a lap, hyst, dye through my tubes and a D&C ..

The findings kinda threw Peter and I for a spin - but in a glad we're glad that our FS found something so the operation wasn't in vain ..

She found my LEFT tube is blocked and has been for quite some time .. it was so badly blocked etc that she just left it alone .. I was told when I had a lap back in November 2005 that I had the biggest polycystic ovaries our FS at that time had seen .. we kinda questioned his findings .. but after my lap on Friday - he was right ! .. Our new FS said she's never seen ovaries so BIG ! .. so I guess he got that right ... lol ...

She was going to try and use an experimental oil in the uterus - but we couldn't try it because my left tube is blocked - you can only use it on unblocked tubes apparently .. so we were a little disappointed about that ...

I have a small cut inside my belly button and another one just above you know where ... lol ... they are healing quite well and I'm back to my normal self !

I've been busy building guinea pig cages - seems never ending .. atm our back yard looks like a shit heap .. lol .. there's timber, draws, wood shavings every where .. and it doesn't help when you have a dog who likes to get in on the action and steal the left over bits of timber .. lol ..

I haven't been dieting - but since working on the guinea pig cages I've lost 2.8kg's ! .. I started out at 100kg and this morning I'm down to 97.2 ! .. I can't believe it ! .. I was shell shocked ! .. I've never lost this much weight ... not even for our wedding !!!!

Mind you it's been hard bloody work .. all day just about none stop ! .. we had built 1 lot of cages but we didn't like them .. too small .. so we've built another lot that are lighter and easier to move around - will post pictures when I can ..

We had some unusal unseasonal storms come through on Saturday last week - hail and everything .. and boy oh boy was it freezing the next day .. the wind was shocking !

A friend of mine Sudipa and her husband are going through a tough time atm - their little boy was born sleeping earlier this year at 23 weeks and today (i think) was her due date .. I wished I could wave a magic wand and bring back their special little angel .. life isn't fair sometimes and this should never have happened ..
