14/10/07 An eventful day ....

Well I actually did drive to mum's today to get their mail .. and have to do the same thing again for the next 2 weeks ... it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't a 2 hour round trip ..

Apart from that ... we got home and worked in the back yard .. I had been dizzy all day so eventually gave in and went to the Logan Hospital after hours GP clinic only to told the wait could be as long as 2 hours ... we looked around and there was possibly 4 people waiting ... so we ended up driving to a chemist and had my blood pressure checked and it was normal 134 on 83 ..

So I've had my shower and in my jammies now and about to jump into bed and get some sleep after dinner .. rissoles and mashed potatoes with gravy .. mmm mmmmm ..

Gooooood Morning !

Well yesterday was quite boring ! .. I hope today isn't .. I'm supposed to be going over to mum's place to check her mail but I've woken up with a dreadful headache so don't know if I'll go or not .. will decide later in the morning ..

Yesterday we shifted the pergola from up the backyard to closer down the front and it looks so much better ..

No storms yesterday or last night .. our 1st night without 1 for almost a week .. hope we don't get them night after night again ...

Well time to get dressed and organised for the day ....

Koko attacks the toilet paper !

Well first off I laughed .. then I realised what he was doing was wrong .. he was attacking my toilet paper ! .. he actually knocked the holder over (which had 4 brand new rolls on it) .. then proceeded to roll, bite, chew, tear and mame my Kleenex Cottonelle toilet paper !

I showed Peter when he eventually got out of bed .. and all he said to me was "and you stood there and watched him .. tsk tsk tsk" .... lol .. oh well at least I got a laugh !

Severe storms lash Queensland

Well what an eventful week we've had ! .. storms, storms and more storms !

Lismore in NSW copped a really bad one, hail the size of tennis balls ... incredible .. here in Logan, we missed most of them as they slipped to the sides of us ..
