Busy week

Well it's been another busy week this week ..

We're building 2 walls down stairs under the pergola so we can put the spare fridge and freezer there and not worry about them getting wet ..

My 2 guinea pigs Starburst Athena and Starburst Brinkley are doing really good .. they are slowly getting used to me .. will post some pictures soon ..

It's done nothing but rain since Thursday afternoon at 1.30pm .. we've had 43mml's last time I checked and that was yesterday morning - we didn't get much rain today .. they say tomorrow or Monday we'll get more ... we'll see ..

It's been pretty cold here cause of the rain so I cooked the most beautiful casserole last night for dinner - there was plenty left over so we're having it for dinner again ..

We pulled the play station out tonight and going to have a few games of BUZZ Mega Quiz .. no doubt as per normal I'll lose .. lol .. oh well such is life ..

Our next FS appointment is on Monday at 10am - not sure what's going to happen - but we'll talk about options etc ... I'm just really enjoying life atm without dr's, scans, hospitals, needles, BT's etc .. so we'll see .. after 3 years of full on it's nice to have a break ...

Just who is reading our blog ???

When you sit and think about it .. the INTERNET can be a very scarey place ..

I just realised this morning - OMG who is/has been reading our blog ? .. why are they reading it ? .. how did they find our blog ? ..

I last posted on our blog on the 21st May 08 ... then something happened last week and I didn't realise until I received an email this morning wondering how "someone" could have known certain information .. I then sat and thought - OMG I mentioned something on my blog - and then I get an email asking me to pass on a message ..

I can honestly say I didn't see the connection until I got an email this morning asking how this person could have known ...... that's why I am here now ..

I am fore-warning everyone that our blog address is going to change ! .. I will email everyone the new address once it's all sorted ..

Hello !

I am so sorry for not keeping this up to date - I've been so busy !!!

First of all - last Friday 16th May 2008 I had my operation .. it was only a small one .. as far as I know I had a lap, hyst, dye through my tubes and a D&C ..

The findings kinda threw Peter and I for a spin - but in a glad we're glad that our FS found something so the operation wasn't in vain ..

She found my LEFT tube is blocked and has been for quite some time .. it was so badly blocked etc that she just left it alone .. I was told when I had a lap back in November 2005 that I had the biggest polycystic ovaries our FS at that time had seen .. we kinda questioned his findings .. but after my lap on Friday - he was right ! .. Our new FS said she's never seen ovaries so BIG ! .. so I guess he got that right ... lol ...

She was going to try and use an experimental oil in the uterus - but we couldn't try it because my left tube is blocked - you can only use it on unblocked tubes apparently .. so we were a little disappointed about that ...

I have a small cut inside my belly button and another one just above you know where ... lol ... they are healing quite well and I'm back to my normal self !

I've been busy building guinea pig cages - seems never ending .. atm our back yard looks like a shit heap .. lol .. there's timber, draws, wood shavings every where .. and it doesn't help when you have a dog who likes to get in on the action and steal the left over bits of timber .. lol ..

I haven't been dieting - but since working on the guinea pig cages I've lost 2.8kg's ! .. I started out at 100kg and this morning I'm down to 97.2 ! .. I can't believe it ! .. I was shell shocked ! .. I've never lost this much weight ... not even for our wedding !!!!

Mind you it's been hard bloody work .. all day just about none stop ! .. we had built 1 lot of cages but we didn't like them .. too small .. so we've built another lot that are lighter and easier to move around - will post pictures when I can ..

We had some unusal unseasonal storms come through on Saturday last week - hail and everything .. and boy oh boy was it freezing the next day .. the wind was shocking !

A friend of mine Sudipa and her husband are going through a tough time atm - their little boy was born sleeping earlier this year at 23 weeks and today (i think) was her due date .. I wished I could wave a magic wand and bring back their special little angel .. life isn't fair sometimes and this should never have happened ..

Been really busy ...

Well it's been another week of busy busy busy ! .. I don't even have time to scratch myself ..

The guinea pig cages are finished !!! yayyyyyy .. all I need to do now is get some piggies and I can't wait .. I will be registering a stud ASAP and also joining a guinea pig (cavy) club also .. when you register a stud name you have to list 3 possible's - so far I have only picked 2 names have to decide on a 3rd ..

It's mother's day today .. so HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the mum's out there ! .. we're going to Peter's mum and dad's this morning and then my mum and her partner are coming here for lunch .. so it's going to another busy day .. I cooked a chicken stir fry last night so that's all ready all I have to do is the rice when I get home ..

Hello friends .. it's been a while :)

HELLO !

It's been quite a few days since i last posted .. so what's been happening ? ..

We are still building the guinea pig hutches/pen's .. once that's all finished it's just a matter of getting some piggies .. I can't wait .. I've decided to breed "REX" .. they are gorgeous little things .. they have a different coat to the normal short hair cavy .. I'll be sure to post some pictures when it's all finished ..

Our FS appointment is on the 15th May with possible lap surgery on the 16th May - finger's crossed she finds out where the missing ovary is .. and that we get some answers !

BB08 - well what a year it's shaping up to be ..

Nobbi - god he get's under my skin - but he makes the show worth watching .. the temper tantrum he threw the other night when Terri came back into the house had me and peter in stitches ... Mum thought her TV had gone bust so she flicked through the other channels .. only to realise that it was Nobbi's swearing that was getting beeped out .. How imature is this clown ? ..

Terri - it's great to see her back, altho last night I thought she looked very down and depressed and in fact i get the feeling she would rather be out than in .. but gee that heated argument with Nobbi was so funny ..

If that had of been me I would have said to him "grow up you idiot - it's a friggen game - your nothing but an arsehole - piss off and leave me alone" .. and then i would have walked away ..

What i don't get is these people whether it be now or past BB seem to stay in the house even if they feel unwanted, lost, depressed etc .. they stick it out till they eventually get booted .. I would walk .. I wouldn't stay in a house with people who didn't like me, stabbed me in the back etc .. I would just walk out .. I wouldn't care either ..

It will be interesting to see what happens sunday night .........
