This is George almost 2 weeks after I first got him - he's doing so much now - and is getting around really well ...

Had Xray's on my back

I seen our local GP yesterday and was sent for xrays - it was such a long day just sitting and waiting and by the time we got home i was exhausted ..

The results from the xray are:

No crush fracture present. Degenerative spurring of the lower vertebral bodies noted. Mild disc degeneration present at the L4/5 level. The pedicles are intact and no pars defect present. Normal SI joints.

I am on panadene forte' - the less expensive brand is Codalgin Forte - 30mg-500mg (codeine phosphate with paracetamol) and also Brufen (Ibuprofen) 400mg 3 times a day ..

I think I am safe to continue the codalgin-forte, but I think I have to stop the brufen on Monday because I'm not supposed to take anything with asprin 2wks prior to my surgery ..

I am still in dreadful pain and can barely move - here's hoping it's gone by the 23rd ..

OMG I'm in pain - so so tired of it !

On saturday i had to shift the dog's bed's .. just 2 small little beds made out of that shade cloth stuff and a thin tubular piping .. that wasn't the problem .. i had to crawl in under a lean 2 we had made for them cause the shits REFUSED to go into their shed .. so we quickly made something so they wouldn't get wet .. when I climbed back out and stood up - BANG my back went and it's been like it ever since ..

I'm on neurofen plus - well that's like water off a duck's back .. and i also brought a heating plaster from the chemist - OMFG i thought i had a hot iron sitting on my back so had to take it off and you should have seen the red patch that was left after about 1/2 an hour !

I am flat out walking, to walk my arms have to hang down and if my arms were longer my finger tips would scrape the ground .. I can't shower myself - and to wipe my bum - OMG don't even go there :( ..

I have an appointment with our Dr tomorrow at 11.20am so I hope he can do or give me something .. I'm hoping not a needle like they did last time because I have George (my 3wk old baby quaker parrot) to feed every 3 hours ..

I've been resting most of today - altho had to go to woolies this morning and the chemist and it almost killed me .. even just sitting here it hurts .. getting in and out of bed is a real killer also - flat out turning over ...

Hope i'm better soon - 3 days now and I'm going mental ...............

Hmmmm .. well I can say is WTF ? .. lol .. in my list of Blogs I visit - half my blogs I visit were gone ! .. I have no idea what happend, but I only just noticed it ! ..

Actually lots of strange things have been happening lately - yahoo wouldn't start - no matter how damn hard I tried - i changed cookies, cache's ... everything .. and then all of sudden WOSH it logged on ..

After doing some searching I found the problem ! AH-HA PC Tools Internet Security ! .. YEP ! .. I normaly use Window's LiveOne Care, but couldn't afford the $ 100 to renew this year so I cancelled that and downloaded PC Tools Internet Security .. what a headache ! for the past 2wks I've even had troubles with MSN messenger - logging in, logging out .. It even took away HIYO in MSN ! ..

but it's all sorted now and everything is back where it should be - I kicked PC Tools in the pants and sent it packing, and I now have AVG .. and all is good :)
