Had Xray's on my back

I seen our local GP yesterday and was sent for xrays - it was such a long day just sitting and waiting and by the time we got home i was exhausted ..

The results from the xray are:

No crush fracture present. Degenerative spurring of the lower vertebral bodies noted. Mild disc degeneration present at the L4/5 level. The pedicles are intact and no pars defect present. Normal SI joints.

I am on panadene forte' - the less expensive brand is Codalgin Forte - 30mg-500mg (codeine phosphate with paracetamol) and also Brufen (Ibuprofen) 400mg 3 times a day ..

I think I am safe to continue the codalgin-forte, but I think I have to stop the brufen on Monday because I'm not supposed to take anything with asprin 2wks prior to my surgery ..

I am still in dreadful pain and can barely move - here's hoping it's gone by the 23rd ..
